ABC Recovery Center offers a specialized perinatal program to meet the needs of expectant mothers struggling with substance abuse. Once the baby is born our specialized nursery allows newborns to stay in residence with their mothers. Mothers also receive parenting training, often for the first time in their lives. Since the inception of this program, over 200 drug and alcohol free babies have been born to women residing at ABC Recovery Center.

Perinatal care is provided by local obstetricians. Women may qualify for public assistance through the Women, Infants and Children public health program (WIC) while residing at ABC Recovery Center. Perinatal and parenting education are provided on-site, coordinated by a registered nurse.
